Champ Show 2021<\/b>\n <\/h1>\n

It is with\ngreat regret that I have to make the following announcement.    
\n
The Ladies of\nWest of England Ladies Kennel Society have decided that our  2021\nchampionship show must be cancelled.  
\n
In\nMarch 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we found ourselves in the unenviable\nposition of being the first general championship show in the UK to cancel. Inevitably\n we found  ourselves with a substantial financial loss.
\n
Since\nthen, looking forward to staging our 2021 show, we worked tirelessly\n to re-assign our 2020 judges and \nplan the 2021 show to ensure total Covid compliance whilst keeping\neveryone safe during these unprecedented times.  The latter part of 2020\nappeared to bring more hope. News from the Government suggested things\nmight possibly be approaching normal by Easter 2021 and consequently we\ncontinued to push ahead with our show planning.    
\n
We now find\nourselves in a different situation; it being  unlikely the Covid situation\nwill have returned to normal by  Easter and, coupled with the likelihood\nof the Government passing Lockdown control and Tier systems to Local\nAuthorities there is no guarantee that the showground or any necessary hotels\nwould even be open. Travel between areas is still likely to be restricted .    
\n
The KC have\nbeen fully supportive regarding our search for a possible change of date\nand\/or venue, but this has now proved impossible.    
\n
The Ladies of\nWELKS have asked me to pass on their apologies for this decision, but\nsafety of exhibitors, judges and\nall potential attendee's is of paramount importance.    
\n
All judges,\nhelpers, partnership breed shows and contractors will be contacted over the\nnext few days to discuss future arrangements.    
\n
We can\nonly look forward to our April 2022 show which we hope to make extra\nspecial.
\n
